TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Matthew 7:7-11
TODAY'S RHEMA Matthew 7:7 ""Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you."
Billy was raised by his father. His mother passed away when he was 2 and he didn't have any siblings. Because of that, Billy was very close to his father. He often asked for present whenever his father went to work. Father-son relationship between them was indeed very strongly built. As he got older, Billy could senses whenever his father was tired or was facing some problems. Billy tried to help his father by letting him rest, washing his car, preparing meals, and much more. Even though he had not been able to fully understand what his father actually felt and thought, through his effort, Billy somehow helped him to lift up some of his burdens. Billy grew to be a fine young man, handsome and well-behaved. His father trusted him and would work together to find a solution whenever problem emerged. That alone made their relationship closer and even stronger.
What happened to Billy in the story above pictures our relationship with God. Like little Billy who loved to receive present from his father so is we! It is a phase when we are focusing on ourselves, we love to be the receiver. This is a kid's natural behavior. However, in our journey with God, we can't be forever a child of God with the character of a kid. We have to grow to be a mature child of God where we are able to understand His heart and what God wants from us. To seek God in His Holy place, and experience Him personally.
When you stay close to God, build an intimate relationship with Him constantly, your spirit and your life will be transformed and anointing will become part of your life and His name is glorified.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, enter deeper into the three dimension of prayer: ASKING, SEEKING AND KNOCKING, then you will experience the great SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION.
