TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL 1 Chronicles 16:28-36
TODAY'S RHEMA 1 Chronicles 16:29 "Give to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness!"
Do you remember the story of Esther? God used her to save Israel from destruction. By His miraculous way, Esther was chosen to be a queen. Automatically, she got the right to stay closer to the king than the others. We can find in Bible that there was a law which was used at that time; it said that no one can be before the king unless the king wants it. Anyone who breaks it will be sentenced to death. This law shows us how priceless and holy to be in front of the king.
Do you also remember the rules in the holy temple? In the three places, the holy place is very special because the only priest who was chosen by God may enter the holy place. Even more, if the priest is not approved in front of God, the priest can die at that moment because of the holiness of God.
It is the same as if we face the king in Esther's time, to face Jesus face to face, it is purely God's desire and sovereignty. Mankind can decide nothing. However, because of His love and Longing to get closer to you, God Himself initiated to come to you through His priceless death at the cross. That is grace. Without His grace, you will not be able to see His holiness and even more, can encounter Him face to face. His Holiness was, and is, and forever will never change. God is not lowering his standard of holiness, but by His priceless blood, He washes and picks you up so that you deserve to enter, to stay close and to live in His Presence. With faith and with a brave heart, receive His grace as your right. Always remember that His grace is priceless. Value it, respect it and live with it. Your name will always be glorified. Hallelujah!
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, every time we pray, ask God to wash our sins away in the first place.
APPLICATION
What will you do if you are given a chance to meet the most respectful person in the world? Then, compare it with your respond when you come before King of kings in prayer.

TODAY'S PRAYER
Our Father in heaven, thank you for your priceless blood that has washed away my sin so that I deserve to enter and to stand before Your holy throne. Teach me to be more respectful and value the holy of Your name. I realize that it is a priceless gift you gave us. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
