A couple were in love and decided to get married. Unfortunately, as time goes by, their love had become cold. By a friend's advice, the wife decides to meet a counselor at church. After asking a few questions, the counselor found out that the problem laid on their communication. Almost every day after work, they got busy with household chores and many other. The counselor suggested the lady do house chores together with her husband. However, the husband refused the idea because they often fought whenever they were in the same room. His wife didn't give up easily and after sometimes, their communication got better. Though they spent too long on the chores, because they did all with a happy heart and good communication, everything was done easily. Because of that, they got used to asked for opinion to each other before doing anything and trust was gradually built.
The key to every relationship is communication. By communication, we can express our heart, and then the relationship will grow. That is why if we want to maintain a good relationship with other people we need to keep in touch with them. The same goes for our relationship with God. Our love towards God could be lukewarm if we don't communicate constantly with Him in prayer.
No matter how deep we have fallen, if today we realize our mistakes, God always gives us chance to come back. So now, give your time to get closer to God. Rebuild your private time with God through prayers and intimate time with God. Our relationship with God will grow, the intimacy will be rebuilt, our Spirit will be awakened and God's grace will be upon our lives.
