Have you ever seen the movie titled "Kung Fu Panda"? This movie tells a story about Po, a fat panda who was so obsessed with learning kung fu. Po trained so hard under the guidance of Master Shifu. His big body and character made him easily give up and he felt so tortured with the discipline and the hard practices meted out by Master Shifu for him. Despite all that happened, a sudden event was destined to make Po to realize his faith. Po who was known as a fat panda who gave up so easily became a real Master Kung Fu.
There are people who enjoy their jobs, but there are also people who are so burdened with their work. It is strongly related to interest, passion and also the income they make. The motivation for working should be based on love for the job, not just merely for the money made. Warren Buffet once shared his life experience: "With money you can buy house, but not a place to call home, you can buy watch, but not time, you can buy bed, but not a place to sleep, you can buy some books, but not knowledge, you can gain position, but not award, you can buy blood, but not life."
In any jobs or at school, do not act recklessly. We have to do everything with a sense of responsibility and with a commitment too. Let us do our best with a grateful heart. But do not do beyond your capacity or strength, or even sacrificing the most important things in our lives such as health, family and our relationship with our God. Ask for God's wisdom so you can work maximally, to glorify Him with your treasures, and to surrender all your plans to the Lord, so He can make you successful and also have true freedom in Him. Do you enjoy it and give thanks to the Lord? 2. Why do you need to ask for wisdom from God in your job or your study? 3. How can you enjoy your work or your study and become a blessing in doing it? TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord Jesus, thank You because we have been reminded to be grateful for everything You have given to us. We ask Your blessings on our work and all the things You have entrusted to us.
