This life is indeed a battle. Like it or not, we have to deal with it. And many times, when we face a great challenge with no guaranty of victory, we often feel tense, or scared. Moses was 120 years old when he gave the leadership staff to Joshua. The nation of Israel who was accustomed to being guided by Moses might feel doubtful and uncertain under the new guidance of Joshua. Moses understood their anxiety. That was why he often calmed them down and gave them encouraging words so they were not afraid and tremble during the fierce battles against their enemies. He reminded them that it was not Joshua, or even Moses himself, who had and would lead them well, but it was the Lord God Himself who would do that. It was correct, that the enemies they would be facing were well-built and strong, but even in this case they should not be trembled, because God Himself would walk with them in the battlefields, and He would always accompany and would not leave them alone.
Every day, we also face our life battles. Our enemies have many kinds of tactics, such as diseases, financial problems, obstacles in schools, domestic problem, or matters in the workplace. Of course, every battle is so intense when we try to face them alone. But remember that the Lord God is with us, helping and strengthening us, so no matter how terrible the battle is, we can surely face each of them with bold faith and leave no fears to live in our hearts.
Fears will only make us discouraged and will break our hearts most of the times. Fears will block our hearts from being able to see God's promises and will also paralyze our movements. Please be reminded, that God has promised that He will always accompany and lead our lives perfectly. That is why do not be afraid because God Himself is the One who will always lead us in our paths so we can have true freedom from all fears arising in our aspects of life. TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord Jesus, thank You if You have allowed me to deal with the enemies within my life. I believe, that You will always lead and accompany me to win every battle of life I face.
