Emanuel was strong and devout God's servant. Someday he was requested to do ministry in a small town. Nevertheless, few days before ministry, he was suffering pain in his stomach. After doing a medical checkup, the doctor said that he was having kidney stones. Having heard that, he felt worried and reminded of his coming ministry. He was terrified for not able to serve with the condition he was having. Finally, he called his friend and asked his friend to sub him in the ministry. At night he was praying for healing, he felt some empowerment from the Holy Spirit that keep pursuing him to go to do ministry as he was scheduled before and suddenly his faith was awakened. He called his friend to cancel his substitution. The next day, even though he felt pain, Emanuel remained serving the Lord and he was doing with all his best. Not only that, in the evening, the Divine Miracles happened, the stones were released out from his body without having surgery
When we raise our hands, God will put down His hands and that's what Emanuel experience. He didn't see the miracles directly when he was praying. But there was Divine anointing come down when he truly came to God. The Holy Spirit made him received Divine ability and got rid off all his fears in his heart. Each of us surely has warfare or burdens. In this kind of situations, learn to come to God first. He might not be instantly listing all the burdens up. However, He enables us and anoints us that make us bold to face the challenges. Therefore we can be strong spiritual children who win the overall burdens and fears and we become the conquerors (Romans 8:37). We will defeat the enemies, which is in the form of the troubles of life. This is the true freedom, we will have the power to be witnesses of Christ and win millions of souls till the end of the earth. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, The anointing of the Holy Spirit makes you receive DIVINE ABILITY and get rid of all fears. APPLICATIONS 1. Have you prioritized God and seek Him above all things through your prayer? 2. In your opinion, what makes you able to defeat and get rid of all fears from our heart? 3. How to receive an anointing from the Holy Spirit? TODAY'S PRAYER "Heavenly Father, thank you for your anointing that enables me to defeat every challenge and fear in my life. Teach me and remind me to always prioritize You and always seek for You in every burden so I can be conquerors. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen"
