Diva sat down sluggishly while sobbing in front of the ICU room, in a hospital. She just lost her parents due to an accident. She began to fear to face her life without her parents. The reason behind her fear is, since her husband died a few years ago, her parents paid for her life and her three children, who were still studying in elementary school. Apparently, the problems faced by her didn't stop there. After a while, she was often called by people, who demand payment of her father's debt. Diva starts to become depressed. Every day she kept thinking about her fate and the fate of her children. She was afraid about their living expenses because everything her parents owned, will be sold to pay the debt. In her despair, she met her old-friend by chance. It was great that she met her because then she was strengthened. From then on, the strengthening words of her friend's changed Diva's life gradually. She no longer afraid and that she witnessed the goodness of the Lord, the miracle He performed in her life, how He sustained her and her three children.
Each of us must have been once afraid in this life. Maybe, we are afraid that our disease can't be cured, afraid of never having children, afraid of not being able to graduate school, afraid of not being able to get married, afraid that our business will fail, and various other fears. As a figure who was given the title Father of Believers, Abraham was once afraid in his life. He was afraid to die by not having children, and all his wealth will be inherited by his servant, Eliezer (Genesis 15:2).
As Diva who succeed to be free from fear when she began to believe that God was with her, in her life, therefore if we are currently experiencing fear of something, come to God immediately. Ask for forgiveness and start believing that God is always with us. Then we will be free from that fear, and surely experience the miracle of God's inclusion. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Realizing that GOD IS WITH US, through all matters is THE MAIN KEY to freedom from fear. APPLICATIONS 1. What is your biggest fear right now? TODAY'S PRAYER "Good father in heaven, thank you for Your inclusion in my life. Forgive me if sometimes I feel scared. Enable me to continue to believe that You are always with me forever, so I am free from that fear. In the name of the Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen."
