In 1868, some of the world's best engineers were contacted to provide opinions on the construction of the railroad through the Andes mountain, Peru. They said that the work was impossible. However, a Polish engineer named Ernest Malinowski assured representatives of participating countries that the work could be done. January 1, 1870, he began to lead the mega railway construction project in the world. The rail was built through 62 tunnels and crossed 30 bridges. One of the tunnels has a length of 1,200 m and is located 4,000 m above sea level. Twice the project was suspended due to war, and once Malinowski had to flee to save his life. Despite many obstacles, the project was finally completed in 1908 and is considered one of the great miracles in world engineering.
Failure and defeat experienced by many people are often caused by fear of what will be faced. We tend to see and calculate all possibilities with our own strength. Finally, we fail because we don't do anything; lose before competing; give up before fighting. This is Satan's strategy.
Thus, realizing that God exists with us is the right way for us to dare to face challenges and problems. Believe me, God's inclusion is perfect. He is not just present, but actively helps and fights our fight in His time. Our part is learning to live close to God and learn to be sensitive to the voice of God, through His words and our prayers. More than that, God will give strength to our lives. Even more though us, God will work to do great things. Yes, God's presence makes us free from fear, enables us to go through every problem, turn it into a great blessing, and bring us to a higher level. Amen.
