Fall but rise up again, that would be true for most of us facing our daily lives. Even though we know that as a Christian we are supposed to live a victorious life, but in reality what happens is often the contrary. We are so easily shaken and we also easily fall into the trap of sins, therefore we finally lose the glory that God has given us (Romans 3:23). We need to get extra anointing to walk with God's power, a power that will come after persistent prayers and which in turn will become the strong foundation for our daily actions. Miracles, healings, successes and all kinds of breakthroughs will soon come if we receive that kind of anointing.
The anointing we receive during revival or crusade service or retreat encounter surely does not last for long. Five stupid women also did the same mistake by carrying no reserves of oil for their lamps. We better consider becoming five wise women who had extra reserves of anointing oil. Ask for a double portion anointing, so we are not running out of oil and can continuously live filled by God's power. The anointing will not be obtained instantaneously or can be bought using our money even though we need to pay other prices to have it. We have to reserve special times every day just to devote on God's words. And doing this is not the same as reading words of God in a fast pace and then forget about them as soon as we move on, but we should do this until the words we read become special revelation from God that takes place within our hearts. If we are lazy in reading the words of God, then we will never experience God's power to come into our lives.
The conclusion is, special revelation words are the ones which will make our faith to grow and which will give us new strength, so our believing faith will become stronger. Firm faith and living words rooting in our hearts will make the prayers we make to possess special authorities and powers. The anointing that is present will enable us to stand tall as spiritual giants, facing every life storms strongly and finishing every task that God has given us perfectly, and the name of God can be glorified through our lives. Is your life today full of God's power or not? 2. If it is not, then what are the things that cause you to lack the anointing that you need? 3. What can you do to gain double portion anointing? TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord Jesus, forgive me if I am so ignorant because I am so busy doing my routines, so my life does not have Your power in it. Starting from today on I promise that I will be more diligent because I know that without Your anointing I am so limited and I have nothing to be proud of. Seal this promise in my heart, o dear Lord, and strengthen me so I can refuse every negative thing that draws me away from You. In the Name of Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen."
