There was Lego final competition going on with ten participants with an age range of six to eight years. This round is very special and also the most difficult. They must make the largest, grandest, and most beautiful building of the Lego composition. Participants were allowed to ask for help from their father or mother. Just like the other participants, this boy was very enthusiastic. Some children even seem to be busy giving instructions or arguing with their parents. However, one of the children named Nicolas seemed silent in front of the Lego pieces scattering in front of him.
"Why do not you start, son? Can't you make a building from Lego?" asked the father. Nicolas nodded and said, "Yes I can. But Dad can definitely make a better one. You're the architect!" Hearing the answer, Nicolas' father smiled and began guiding his son to craft the Lego pieces step by step. Not even once did Nico disobey or attempt to add his own ideas. The result, indeed they built the largest, grandest, and most beautiful Lego in the competition.
As children of God, we also have a Father who is more than capable to bring us into a victorious life. However, like most children in the story above, we unconsciously seize the space for God's power to work on us. We need to be like a little boy who believes in his father, like a dry land that can only wait for the rain to fall, or like a branch that can only receive nutrients from a tree trunk and produce fruit in time. Only with a heart fully leaning on the Lord, accepting and acknowledging all our weaknesses, releasing all the pride of life, we can see just how the power of God works in and through our lives, making us a powerful spiritual giant.
