TODAY'S RHEMA 1 Thessalonians 5:13b And be at peace among yourselves
General Robert E. Lee was questioned by President of Confederation, Jefferson Davis, about one of the officials. Lee responds to all the questions with positive answers. One of the officials who attend the meeting was amazed by Lee's answers. He said, "General, don't you know that the person whom they question to you is an enemy? He always says bad things about you." General Lee answered, "I knew it. But, the President asked for my opinions about him, not the other way around. I think I never have any problems with him. If he has problems with me, it is not my problem, isn't it?"
General Lee didn't easily get involved in problems. He could honestly give his opinions about others, no tendency, and no grudge. In other words, he chose to love above all else. His character brought Lee to the next level. He became a right-hand man for the President of Confederation.
