TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
James 1:12-18
TODAY'S RHEMA
James 1:12 "Blessed the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him."
Have you ever heard a story about a man digging for gold? The story tells about a man who dug for a very long time, but he could not find anything at last. He decided to stop digging only few steps behind of where the gold should be found. It was just a little bit more. He needed to endure it a little bit more, take one more step forward, be patient a little bit more, and be strong a little bit more. If only the man had dig a little bit more, he would have found a precious gold mining. What things did make him give up? Perhaps, the weariness he felt after digging for so long but still did not find anything; or his physical view on how he could not see anything worth; or the pressure from someone else who said that the things he had done was in vain; and at last, his faith crumbled due to all the pressure he faced.
How many of Christians ever experienced that kind of thing? When you fight for something, you first truly believe that God's promise is always yes and amen. At first, you have your faith in one-piece. However, when you struggle for a long time without any good outcome and there are many problems, pressures from the superior, unchanging family, and bad words from others; your faith becomes loose and you decide to turn back, stop, and give up. In fact, you don't know that perhaps the answer of your prayers is right in front of you. Only one more step until you reach the victory.
In this moment, if you are weak and you feel like you want to give up, remind yourself that God is with you until today. He will also be with you until the victory happens. God's promise is still yes and amen. He only makes sure that the time is right for you to have the victory. Ask for strength from God so that you are able to go through every storm, trial, and adversity. Thus, someday you deserve to have that crown of victory.
Today, make sure that your faith reunites as a whole one. Problems and obstacles you have in your life are purposed to make you stronger, not to harm you. If you are a director and are about to choose a reliable person for a high position, what kind of person will you choose? It must be a person who has high endurance in every situation that you can always rely on, isn't it? That is the way of God. He makes sure that you have high endurance for great victory. Do not give up. Endure it a little bit more, one more step forward, be patient a little bit more, be strong a little more. See, the crown of victory is right in front of you!!!

Saudara Terkasih, a heart that trusts in God will be able to change GREAT PROBLEM into GREAT VICTORY.

"God, I need your strength so that I can keep moving and going forward in every situation I face. I believe that Your promise is always yes and amen and You have provided me with the victory. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."
