TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Psalms 26:1-12
TODAY'S RHEMA Psalms 26:3 "for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness."
Have you ever watched America's Most Wanted? It is TV program which makes reenactment of crime stories and motivates its audience to help the authorities to hunt and catch the suspects who are mostly villains. This show is hosted by John Walls.
This program was inspired by John's own life story. There was a time when John's kid was kidnapped but because the lack of evidence, the authorities couldn't do anything and took a very long time to help John and his wife finding their son. They had been looking for 16 days and tragically their son was found dead. John was broke and lost all the hope. He testified that he ever wanted to suicide but he didn't do it eventually. He felt very courage when someone told him that he had made the biggest campaign of his missing kid in the history of Florida which moved mass to help. His achievement created a life purpose for his life and it had given him more than a reason not to attempt suicide. It had given him strength to serve and help others. In 1988, he started the show America's Most Wanted which is still aired in television till now.
John Walls regained his confidence in his life when he could find his life purpose. When his focus was shifted from tragic event in his life to something more meaningful, he then became much stronger person. He kept on moving forward to the marvelous successful.
Similar to us, when we shift our focus from troubles that we are currently facing to the almightiness of God, to the promises of His words, to His love and affection, we will be strengthened, encouraged and motivated to move forward in full faith and trust that the best is yet to come.
If any of you are fired from the company you were working at, trust God that He has a lot better plans for you. If you are brokenhearted, learn to see from God's point of view that He is greater than any troubles, burdens or problems that we have. God bless you.
