TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Mark 10:46-52 TODAY'S RHEMA Mark 10:47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!"
In the year of 1989, Rev. Yonggi Cho had a vision that God would cause a revival in a seaside town called Pensacola which would spread like wildfire until all of America was consumed by the fire of God. A pastor from a small church in Pensacola, Ps. John Kilpatrick seized the prophetic message from God and believed it earnestly. They prayed about that prophecy every day. They could see God's plan surely become established and manifest in their midst. Sure enough, a great move of God broke out in their church. When the Holy Spirit moved at a prayer meeting in the church, Ps. John Kilpatrick laid on the floor for almost four hours and experienced a tremendous touch of the Holy Spirit.
From that day on, many people from all over America came to the church to encounter the visitation of the Holy Spirit. In fact, not only from America but from all over the world, came to see and experience for themselves the great revival that God did. People were willing to wait 4-5 hours before the service began, so they could get a seat in the church. This church truly experienced God's visitation, because they could see God's great plan, and responded in an earnest manner. Likewise, the same thing will happen when we can see God's great plan, believe it, and then respond to it in faith. That way, we will experience miraculous and great things that exceed our comprehension.
Let us be like Bartimaeus and this church in Pensacola, who could see God's mighty visitation and responded to it seriously so that we can also experience God's mighty visitation in our lives. When God's mighty visitation comes, we will experience miraculous and extraordinary things. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, When you CAN SEE, then you will RESPOND and by doing so you will EXPERIENCE God's mighty visitation even more! APPLICATIONS 1. Can you see God's mighty visitation coming? 2. What is your response to it? 3. What are the things do you desire to experience when God visits you? TODAY'S PRAYER "God, I desire Your visitation. I desire to experience great things that exceed my comprehension. Use me that I can glorify Your name. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."
