TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
1 Corinthians 1:4-10
TODAY'S RHEMA 1 Corinthians 1:10 I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.
Grasshopper is a weak animal. Beside of its small size, Grasshopper is vulnerable to eaten by a bigger animal, bird for example. It's not just that, because of its small size, it's hard to be seen by a human so they often stepped. Yes, when it's alone, it's a weak animal, but when hundred, thousand, even millions of them gathered to invade an agricultural field, they have strong power to finish off the crops in the field immediately. For the Farmers, Grasshopper attack is dangerous and causes a lot of loss.
Even in the Bible, it's also told about how great the power of a lot amount of grasshopper (Exodus 10:14-15). One grasshopper doesn't have power. It will only jump around and easily caught by a human. But when they gathered, in a great amount of army, Grasshopper attack cause a lot of damage.
So as in our Christian life. Even the Bible emphasize how important a unity is (Ecclesiastes 4:12; Romans 12:4-5; Romans 15:5-6; Ephesians 4:3; Philippians 2:1-4). Just like the grasshopper, they are weak if they are alone in a field, just like us in this world. There are a lot of threats which endanger our spiritual life. That's why we need the unity of God's Children. When we gather, the unity will result in a great power. The power which is not easily beaten by anything. So, let's us join together and get up to fight as God's heroes through our prophetic declaration so that the mighty movement of God will happen soon in Indonesia and Indonesia be filled with his glory. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Rise and declare prophetic word together in unity, then you will experience acceleration. APPLICATIONS 1. Do you believe in the power of unity? 2. Why does God want us to be united? 3. What can you do to build unity between God's Children? Write it down! TODAY'S PRAYER "Dear God, please forgive me if I still being selfish and not fighting for unity. Start from today, I want to take commitment to embrace our brothers and sisters in Christ to enter the prophetic dimension together. So that through our unity, acceleration happen, and God's visitation will happen in Indonesia. In the name of Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Amen."
