Jacqline Celosse is a Christian singer and Manado-born evangelist. One of her best-known songs is "Engkaulah Alasanku Hidup" (You are My Reason to Live). The contents of this song illustrate the faith and way of life of Jacqline who truly holds fast to the promise of the word of God. Since she was a child, she suffered from brain neurological diseases which caused her to depend on drugs for life. However, when she accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, she experienced miracles of healing. In her life journey, she then suffered from breast cancer, but when she prayed and continued to pray, she recovered without surgery. Not long after her marriage, she was blessed with a baby. However, after examination, the doctor said that her baby wasn't growing in the womb but outside of it and because of that, the doctor said that the 2 months old fetus had to be aborted. However, once again Jacqline chose to hold onto the powerful word of God. Every night she and her husband prayed and laid their hands on their wombs, also prophesied so that the baby's position could be normal. When she checked her baby again, the doctor could only shake his head. Not because the baby didn't have hope anymore, but because the baby has moved into the womb!
Yes, when we face mountains of problems in our lives, it's so easy for us to give up. However, God always gives us choices and also reasons to keep believing in Him. Keep holding on to the promise of His word. When we decree prophetic declarations, like Jacqline, we can defeat all the mountains of our problems.
We already know prophetic declarations are words that have the power to create something new. The question is, do we dare to do it? The courage to decree a prophetic declaration requires faith that dares to look at God whose mightiness exceeds all the mountains of our problems.
