TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Ezekiel 37:1-10 TODAY'S RHEMA Ezekiel 37:4-5 Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.
If you are sent to Jerusalem to serve and pray for a group, it would not be that difficult. But what if you are sent to Northern Toraja to resurrect the dead during their ritual? You would think twice, or even reject it right away. Despite the corpses being whole, they have been dead for a long time, it is impossible to resurrect them.
Ezekiel was faced with a similarly tough situation. One day, God brought Ezekiel to a valley full of dry human bones. Then God asked Ezekiel to prophesy that those dry bones may come back to life. If those corpses in Toraja are hard enough, imagine Ezekiel faced with dry bones! However, Ezekiel did not question God, he declared the prophecy as God has told him. After he prophesied, the dry bones came back to life.
We may have faced adversities in our lives. But just as Ezekiel did not question God, but prophesied with great faith, we should also learn to declare prophetic words. Do not question whether you will be healed or not, but declare that "I am healed by the Lord!" Do not question whether or not your marriage can be saved, but say that your marriage is happy and blessed! Make the commitment to prophesy and believe that God's mighty move will take place. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, When you PROPHESY, you are giving a COMMAND and CREATING something new through your words. APPLICATIONS 1. Have you encountered a situation where you felt hopeless? What situation was it? 2. Did you make a prophetic declaration towards that situation? Why? 3. How do you declare prophetically over your situation? TODAY'S PRAYER "Good Father, forgive me for doubtingly questioning Your Power. Enable me to declare those prophecies that You have placed in my life, that I may experience Your miracles. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
