TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Galatians 2:16-21
TODAY'S RHEMA Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in."
Abraham, the father of the faith, was already very old and did not have children. Despite his current condition, God promised him that he would have many children as many as the stars in the sky and the sands of the sea. Even though he had to go through long-overdue processes, he kept waiting for the fulfillment of God's promises. He kept his fellowship with God, he lived according to God's Word and held firmly on it until the Spirit of the Lord anointed the Word in logos to become the Word in rhema. The anointed Word awakened and strengthened Abraham's faith. Eventually, when he was a hundred years old, Abraham received God's miracle through the birth of Isaac.
As a believer, you must want to experience a miracle in your life. If you are longing to live under God's power and to experience God's miracle, you must have spiritual faith which is gained through the unity of God's Word, Holy Spirit, and yourself. In order to be united with Word and Holy Spirit, you need to provide certain time to have devotion each and every day.
If you do not have devotion regularly, you'd better start to commit yourself to having fellowship with God and the Holy Spirit through the Word. You can use facilities provided by your church to help you doing the daily devotions. By using a pocket book called 'My Rhema Pocket Book', you will get guidance on how to have daily devotions, how to pray, how to fast, and how to worship God. In addition, you can use Worship Audio to help you enter the presence of God and experience the fullness of Holy Spirit. When you are united with God's Word and Holy Spirit, your life will be filled with God's power and miracles. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, To have a life full of God's power and miracles you must be united with God's Word and Holy Spirit. APPLICATION 1. Do you provide certain time to have daily devotion? How long does your daily devotion last? 2. Do you hold firmly on God's word and Holy Spirit's guidance in your life? Why? 3. How do you maintain the unity between you and God's word and Holy Spirit?
TODAY'S PRAYER "Father, fill me with Your Word and Holy Spirit that my spiritual faith can grow bigger and my life can be filled with Your wonderful power and miracles. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
