TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Proverb 10:2-8
TODAY'S RHEMA
Ecclesiastes 5:19 "Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil-this is a gift of God."
A twin sisters, Ella and Emma, were daughters of a success businessman. Both of them were good girl; they were cheerful and friendly. Like their parents, they were competent in business world. Thus, when they were 36 years old, the two sisters already had some companies that expanded rapidly. Even though they were sibling, they had different habit one another. Particularly, they had different way in spending their spare time. Whenever Ella had spare time, she chose to do body exercise and gathered with her family and friend. On contrary, Emma preferred to spend her spare time only for working until late night and sometimes, until the dawn came. She was so obsessed to achieve much more incomes as well as successes in her career. Two years later, Emma suffered from hypertension (high blood pressure). To cure the illness, the doctor required her taking bed rest, also referred to as rest-cure for two months. When Emma was sick, Ella looked very healthy; she even could do her works as well as her activities as usual. Every day, while Emma was sick, her families and friends came to visit her only to entertain and check her condition. For two months of rest, Emma realized that health, family and friend are important things in her life. When doctor said that she was cured and enable to work as usual, Emma pledged to change her habit. She started to do some exercises and also gathered with family and friend whenever she had spare time.
When we are on the pinnacle of success, we sometimes being so obsessed to work more and hope that we are going to get more fruits from it. Because of this obsession, we often forget to take a rest, be grateful and enjoy all blessings that God gives on us. Being rich is good; by this, we can be a channel of God's blessing for other people. However, it will be useless when we unable to enjoy our wealth itself. Health, family, and friend; they are the most precious blessing that God gives on us. Without those things, we cannot enjoy wealth that God already gave on us. Do not be so obsessed on working. Remember, in vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat – for he grants sleep to those he loves (Psalm 127:2).
REFLECTION
Saudara Terkasih, we should WORK HARDER so that OUR INCOME INCREASES and HIS BLESSINGS are poured out upon us.

TODAY'S PRAYER
"Father in heaven, I thank You for Your commandments so that I can rely on You every day. Teach me to be wise to manage my finance. Give me Your wisdom in my work and business so that I can increase our income. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
