TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Philippians 4:6-13
TODAY'S RHEMA
Philippians 4:11 "I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances."
When do we feel content? It doesn't matter how much we have something in life, sometimes we feel that something is still missing, that we are still lack of something. Many things we desire to own whether it is purely our own desire or suggestion from friend. If we have no self-control, we might end up in consumptive lifestyle that could ruin our life. Being happy is not about getting what we want. Furthermore getting something without thorough consideration that could lead us to overspend and further financial problem
If we are not careful, money can be a big problem unless we learn to be content. It's not easy to change our lifestyle but it doesn't mean that it's something impossible. In his letter, Apostle Paul did say that he learned to be content with all he had and he also recounted how he could survive during his suffering time and he said that the key to experience contentment in life is through God Himself because God gives His children strength.
If happen you are caught in various debt problem, believe that God will not forsake you and He will outstretch His hands if you are willing to turn yourselves from financial management. He will set you free from the bondage of debts and you can use your money to glorify God even more.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, when we don't learn to be content with what we have, we might fall into temptation leading us to various financial problem.
