Receive The Vision From God Keluarga Allah Daily Devotional May 10, 2017
TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Ephesians 1:9-22
TODAY'S RHEMA Ephesians 1:18 "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people."
As long as the earth rotates, seasons will also change accordingly. We will not stay in the same season forever. Rainy season, summer, winter, spring, and autumn will alternately take place. So does our life as Christian. When what we hope for doesn't seem to be happening, or when our prayer goes without an answer for long period of time, dryness will likely to fill our spirit.
Take this illustration to help us understand better. There were two farmers lived in the nearby village. For some period of times, they had a plentiful harvest on their crops until one moment when summer stayed for way too long. Long dry season was a threat to their farm. Every single day, both farmers would gaze upon the sky to see if there was any sign for rain to come. They prayed, prayed and prayed for God to send them rain. However, there was something different between both farmers. The first farmer would pray and do something else to make some money but did nothing to his farm. The second farmer, though it seemed to be something useless, he worked on his farm preparing it as though the rain was going to come soon. Out of the blue, when God sent rain over the land, the seeds planted by the second farmer grew very well and he harvested many crops.
More than anything, in our "waiting time" God sees our heart and action. Are we living our life as though we have already received the answer to our prayer? Are we looking ahead with the eyes of faith that what we have prayed for will take place? Because what we can see in the spirit realm will eventually take place in our real life. Vision from God will give us strength in our "waiting time" until something really happens. With that vision from God, we could also make the right decision. That is what is meant by looking ahead with the eyes of faith, it is when we prepare our life to receive the answer to our prayer. It will touch the heart of God to bring forth an answer to what we have prayed for.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, grasp the vision from God to experience spiritual transformation.

"Beloved Father, enlighten my spiritual eyes so I can see the vision that You have for my life. My desire, o Lord, is to have a spiritual transformation which will draw us closer to You. In the Name of Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen."
