TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Proverbs 29: 6-19
TODAY'S RHEMA
Proverbs 29: 18a "Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint;"
If there's someone who really knows how difficult to press forward to a vision, Merry Riana is the person. She was born and grew up in Jakarta but her struggle began in Singapore during riots in Jakarta in 1998. Without adequate preparation of funds, Merry borrowed money from the Bank of Singapore Government $40,000. She experienced a very difficult time, so she made a resolution that she had to have a financial freedom before the age of 30. After graduating from her college, she ran a business in financial service. Her business faced many challenges and obstacles even so she was brave enough to take the risk. She considered those as experience and lesson in her early career. She worked for 14 hours a day, from morning to late at night each day. However, her income was not enough to cover all of her expenses for a month. Therefore she needed to skimp on her spending. She realized that the hardship she had to go through wasn't a burden but it' was the way to reach her vision. Her vision strengthens her to fight to reach her dream. Four years later after her graduation, Merry got her first one million dollars.
To reach success, we must have a vision and act upon it. If we already had the vision, we will know our life purpose. We must also be brave to take an action. Do not be afraid to fail. Anything can happen but that's a mean to reach our vision. If we can't see it, we will consider our difficulty and struggle as the burden. It's not about good or bad things because one incident can create a different reaction. It depends on our response towards it. That's why from now on, ask God to open our spiritual eyes so that we can see God's vision for our finance, career, family, health and above those things is our spiritual life. God bless you.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, if you CAN'T SEE A VISION, you may consider A BLESSING AS A BURDEN.
