TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL

Numbers 14: 1-38

TODAY'S RHEMA
Numbers 14:24 "But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly. I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it."

During waiting for God's timing, we oftentimes believe more on what is visible to our physical eyes than what our spiritual eyes can see. No matter how often we experience the hands of God in our lives, we tend to easily forget about that.
It happened to the people of Israel. They had seen the great miracles of God before they were out from the harsh slavery of Egyptian. Along the way to the Promised Land, Canaan, they witnessed the Lord's guidance by day in a pillar of cloud and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light. In spite of having this wonderful experience, the Israelites grumbled when they faced a giant obstacle. They forgot the great miracles that God had done: how God delivered them out from Egypt, divided the Red Sea so they went through on the ground and fed them in the wilderness with manna. Only Caleb and Joshua who saw the vision far beyond the obstacles. They saw God had given the land flowing with milk and honey. According to that vision, God finally brought them into the Promised Land.

God has been working to transform our lives since we become believers, but God's transformation take place truly or not, it all depends on ourselves. Are we able to see the vision? How far can we see the vision of that transformation? Do we want to be like the people of Israel who just walked with God without knowing their purpose or Joshua and Caleb who walked with strong-rooted vision? The depth of vision shows how deep our faith is in God, in His promise, power, and love.

REFLECTION
Saudara Terkasih, THE DEPTH OF VISION IN TRANSFORMATION determines the MIRACLE that will happen.

  2. Why do you need to have a deep vision to transform every area in your life?
  3. How is your way to deepen that vision?
TODAY'S PRAYER
"Dear God, thank You for the transformation You have been working in my life. Enable me to have a deeper vision for my spiritual transformation and all aspects of my life so that I can see miracles You do to me. In the name of Lord Jesus I pray. Amen."
