TODAY'S RHEMA
1 John 2:15-16 "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world."
Have you ever feel so frustrated with yourself? When you worship Him, your focus is so easily distracted by many things, especially by something that comes out of your desire. The desire to change is strong, but often times changing is not as easy as to turn the palm of your hand. Bad characters, bad habits, and sins are gripping so strong to bind you and will never let you go. This is similar to a fight between two persons. The first one has a big body with bulky muscles, the second one has a small and thin body, with no appearances of muscles on his body. Without thinking twice, you will be able to guess who will win. If the thin gentleman is you, what do you think you will do so you can beat your stronger enemy? The answer is one: Exercise and train until you become stronger than him. In order to become stronger, there will not be an instant or a quick way. There must be a price we shall pay. And we have to practice and practice a lot. Slowly but sure, your muscles will be built and if you are committed to doing it, then being able to beat your strong opponent is only a matter of time.
The illustration above is describing your spiritual and physical being. If during all these times you lose, then it means your spiritual is weaker than your flesh. You should rush to step forward and train your spiritual being, so your spirit can slowly but sure becomes stronger. You have to believe that if your spirit is stronger than your flesh, you can easily win over all sins, can crucify your personal ambitions, and also destroy all bad habits you might have. It really all depends on which one you listen most often, whether you like to obey your flesh or spirit, the one who has more practices shall be stronger, and the stronger will eventually win. If your spirit wins, then matters of spirit will surely dominate your life. Because God is Spirit, then if you are strong in your spirit, then it becomes easier to worship Him in spirit and in truth. Hallelujah!

- Are there any fleshly desires that still control you? Mention them in front of the Lord and make a commitment to beat them!

TODAY'S PRAYER
"Lord Jesus, without Your strength and Your grace, it will be impossible for me to let go everything evil inside of me. I need Your strength, o God because I want to be closer to You and to be able to worship You in spirit and in truth. In the Name of Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen."
