TODAY'S RHEMA
Galatians 5:16 "So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh."
Graffiti is a mural which became a big problem and impossible to solve for the Americans. But, Jane Golden believed that through graffiti, God touched the destructive characters and turned them into more self-empowered ones. Over the years, she worked as a muralist in California and had so many fans. But because she was suffering lupus, Golden went home to his hometown in Philadelphia. In 1984, he received an offering from the mayor to work with Tim Spencer to run the anti-graffiti program. This program was purposed to train them into muralist. In his first 7 years, more than 30.000 youths participated in this program. They painted around 900 murals and no graffiti at all. By applying his faith in his life, Golden changed people's opinions about the mural.
When we are facing the problems, usually most of us see with our physical eyes and try to solve with our physical strength. Finally, we are ended with disappointment. But God teaches us to learn to live by faith not with our physical sense anymore because only by faith we can see the works of Holy Spirit that God is working on in our life.
The scripture said that faith comes from the hearing. Every day, start to declare the word of God, even by audio bible our church has provided. Believe that the Word of God is a living word. When you listen to them so often, the word is absorbed into your spirit and your faith is awakened. Eventually, you will feel easier to surrender all your burdens in the hands of God which full of amazing providence. Amen.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, when we learn to LIVE BY FAITH, it means we start to learn to LIVE IN SPIRITUAL REALM than in real physical world.
