TODAY'S RHEMA Matthew 6: 10 "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
Have you ever imagined what it looks like when heaven is open? Jacob was one of those people who had been given a vision of how heaven seemed to be open through dreams (Gen 28: 12-17). At that moment, he saw a ladder leading up to the sky with angels going up and down on it. That is when heaven is open. At that very moment, the Lord said he would give the land of Bethel to Jacob and his descendants. He will also give Jacob very many offspring. Not only that, God even said that all his descendants will be blessed because of him, and God, Himself will protect and accompany Jacob (v.14-15).
Jacob's experience shows that even if we live in this world, we can experience heaven in our lives. Because in truth, God wants us to experience the blessings of unity, harmony, healing, abundance, and even become an abundance of blessings for those around us. Just like the heavenly atmosphere filled with the presence of God, He also wants our life on earth to be full of His presence. However, the devil is always trying to snatch them away from us by whispering lies that we can only receive those blessings when we are in heaven. Satan deceives people with the idea that there is only trouble and suffering in the world.
Undoubtedly, many are living their lives in desperation. Yet, though God wants to shower us with blessings, open heaven will not just happen until you do your part, earnestly seeking first His kingdom above all, walk in holiness, and only then the glory of God can be revealed in our lives. Believe me, He is God who knows what we need, even before we ask Him. He is able to do far more than we ask or think.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Open Heaven means while you live in the world, you can experience life "as it is in heaven."

TODAY'S PRAYER "Jesus, thank you for the revelation you've given me. I want to experience open heaven as You desire for me. Teach me O God, to seek your face more, that Your holiness may fill my life. Thank you, Jesus. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."
