3 John 1:2 "Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well."
There is a general misconception among the believers. We, as Christian, often think that the most important part to take care is a spirit because our God is a spirit. We are so focused in eternity while we forget to maintain our physical bodies. Instead, God created spirit, body, and soul in a man. The life on earth is as important as the life in heaven later. God has a purpose in giving us the breath of life that we do things He has assigned us to do. And we cannot complete it without our earthly bodies. The finished assignment we do in earth is determining our afterlives.
Without a healthy body, we cannot do things maximally. Suffering from the disease will hinder from doing our works, therefore, we need to maintain our stamina to keep fit. Thus, we need to develop a healthy life according to the Word of God that we can experience a great health transformation in our lives.
Having a healthy body is truly a blessing to us. We are able to do activities comfortably and without burden. In our personal relationship with God, when we have quiet time with God, we may focus more. The ministry we are involved in shall develop because we have the ability to give more contributions. We become productive workers. Our emotion will keep stable too. So having a healthy body will affect our spiritual lives. And in the end, the project God assigned us to do is fulfilled.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, we need to experience HEALTH TRANSFORMATION because it will bring POSITIVE EFFECTS into our lives.
