James 1:22 "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says."
The breath stopped for seconds. Tiffany couldn't believe her healthy body suffered leukemia. Shadows of death were like approaching her at that time; she stood stiffly. Fortunately, her mother calmed her and prayed for her. Not only that, hearing the news, many of her friends came over and gave her courage to fight for it. She was always strengthened by the Scripture she read. She believed that God would heal her by His stripes. Though days went by, her condition worsened, but she still trusted her life in God. Resting in the hospital and taking some chemotherapy did not make her down. Instead, she stayed optimistic believing that she had been healed by the power of God. Tiffany learned more about the Words of God and she gained more understandings from it. She spoke about it. Not only that, whenever she got a special message from the passage, she always tried to become the doer of it. And the miracle happened. Slowly, her body was getting better. Two years later, the doctor said that she had been totally healed and no need to take medicine.
To do what it is said is not an easy thing. Doctors may have many suggestions, but if the patient does not do the instructions given, they won't be healed. It is not enough just to agree and believe, but the patient needs to put it into action. The same thing happened with the Words of God. It had been given thousand years ago. Do not be like The Scribes and The Pharisees and Sadducees who do not do what they preach. God desires us not to merely listen to His Word, but to do what He has asked us to do. When we show our earnestness to make a change in our lives, God will help us. By His grace, He will pour His favor upon us and we reach the point of transformation in every aspect of our lives.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, to EXPERIENCE TRANSFORMATION, we need to be THE DOER OF THE WORD OF GOD.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Dear Jesus. I am praying to You now. I do want to be the doer of Your Word. I want to do the law written in the Bible. Please guide me that I am faithful in You. Let the transformation happens in life bring glory to Your name. In the name of Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen."
